What the app stores

You can keep item names, locations, notes and photos on your Android device. Household sharing is optional. When you create an account, the service processes your email address, authentication information and optional display name. When you share an item, its text and photo are uploaded, together with household membership and update information.

Locations are descriptions you enter, such as a shelf or room. The app does not request your device’s GPS location. Photos may reveal people, addresses or details of your home; choose what you include and share.

How information is used and shared

Information is used to save and find items, authenticate users, send account emails and provide household collaboration. Members of your household can see shared items and photos, and member display names and email addresses. Household owners can manage membership.

Supabase provides account authentication, the shared database and photo storage. Resend delivers account verification and password recovery emails. These providers process information needed to operate those services, which can include technical request and delivery records. If you email support, your message is processed through our Google-hosted mailbox.

Pilot 0.6 does not include advertising or analytics SDKs. Shared information is transmitted over HTTPS. Household photos use private storage with account-based access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and deletion

Local inventory stays on your device until you remove it or clear the app’s storage. Signing out or deleting your online account does not clear local inventory. Exported backups remain wherever you save them.

Online account information and shared content are retained to provide the service until removed through the app or an account-deletion request. Deleting an account removes its sign-in account and memberships, all households it owns and their shared items and photos, and photos uploaded by that account to other households.

Text items in households owned by other people remain with account attribution removed. That text may still include identifying details you entered; contact support if you need help removing personal information from it. Other members’ previously saved copies and your exported backups cannot be remotely erased.

Account deletion removes the data described above from the active app service. Technical records may remain separately: Supabase’s Free plan lists one day of API and database log retention, and Resend states that email and log data is retained for 30 days on its standard plans. These are provider record-retention periods, not a promise that every backup copy is erased on the same schedule. Provider security records and any backups are subject to their retention practices. Support correspondence is retained while needed to resolve your request and document its handling; you can also request its deletion. See Supabase’s privacy information and Resend’s data-handling information.

Your choices and contact

You can use local inventory without household sharing, edit your items, update your display name, reset your password or delete your online account. See Account deletion for in-app and email request instructions.
