Request deletion without the app
Email clint@6fosters.com with the subject Where’d I Put It? account deletion. Send the request from your account’s email address and state that you want your account and associated data deleted.
You do not need to reinstall the app. We will verify account ownership before processing the request. If you cannot access that email address, contact us for help. Never send your password or a verification code by email.
Delete directly in the app
- Open Household sharing and sign in.
- Open Account, then Delete account.
- Read the deletion details, enter your current password and type DELETE.
- Confirm deletion.
What is deleted
- Your online sign-in account and household memberships.
- Every household you own, including its shared items and photos for all members.
- Photos you uploaded to households owned by other people.
What remains
- Your local inventory on your phone. Clear the app’s storage separately if you want it removed.
- Text items in other owners’ households, with account attribution removed. Contact support about personal details that remain in that text.
- Exported backups and copies saved by other people.
Successful in-app deletion removes the account from the active service during the request. If the app reports an incomplete deletion, follow its retry instructions or contact support.
Email requests are handled manually after ownership verification; support will confirm completion or explain any additional steps. Supabase’s Free plan lists one day of API and database logs, and Resend retains email and log records for 30 days on standard plans. Provider security records, any backups and support correspondence may remain as described in our privacy policy. Copies retained in other households or exported backups do not expire automatically when your account is deleted.
Deleting an owner account affects all members of its households. Removing the app from your phone alone does not delete your online account.
